Bull City Burger and Brewery is excited to be a qualifier for the U.S. Steinholding Association
North Carolina State Championship 2024
Congratulations to our winners: Robyn G. for the women's division and Brian B. for the men's. They head to Charlotte for the State championship in October.
We are hosting 4 pre-qualifying events where the top 3 at each event, compete at our Octobullfest on Saturday Sept 28, 2024. The winner of our final gets to compete in Charlotte for the state championship. The State Championship venue is Gilde Brewery in Charlotte, NC, on Saturday October 19th, 2024.
We are holding 4 rounds in Durham leading up to our local championship. You must be in the top 3 at one of our qualifiers and then must be able to compete on September 28 in Bull City Burger and Brewery in Durham and then must be able to go to Charlotte for October 19.
We have Men's and Women's heats. The top 3 men and women from each qualifier will compete for our championship Sept 28. Must be 21 to compete. Must have beer in the stein. We also have a fun kid round with soda on Sept 28 with plastic cups.

Competitors sign up in advance for qualifying heats now. The cost is $15 per person. This includes the cost for the beer. Half the fee goes into a cash pot for the winner that night, men and women rounds.* There is no fee to compete in the championship round unless you have not prequalified.
*must have at least 2 people competing in a heat.
Competitors agree to have their names and images used in social media. The champion receives a free BCBB t-shirt and agrees to wear that shirt at the finals in Charlotte to represent.
